North Beach Wedding - South Haven, MI intimate beach ceremony

I love intimate, small weddings, especially when they take place on the beach. The lakeshore of Michigan is so beautiful and makes the perfect backdrop for a ceremony. Cristin and Nolan had a very small wedding in South Haven and I was only with them a few hours to photograph their ceremony and some portraits. It started off as a perfectly warm summer day and at some point after the ceremony, while doing the family portraits, a crazy cold front moved in. The warm air suddenly turned cold and extremely WINDY. It was that kind of wind that makes walking difficult, but we managed to get in a handful of pretty portraits with plenty of blowing hair and clothing. 😊
