One of my favorite places for a destination wedding in Michigan is Mackinac Island. For those of you that haven’t been there, no cars are allowed on the island so all travel is by bicycle, horse drawn carriage or walking. This really adds a uniqueness and sense of romance to weddings on the island. Haley and Blake got married downtown in the historic St. Anne’s Catholic Church and held their reception at the Grand Hotel’s sister property, Woods Restaurant. Woods is a Tudor style mansion located in the wooded interior of Mackinac Island. As you will see, Woods is a unique and wonderful place for a wedding reception! Please enjoy the preview.
