First, let me fill you in on a little bit about me. I lived in Michigan for the first part of my life and shortly after finishing high school, I moved to San Franciso, California. While living there, I studied all different types of photography and eventually got my BA in Photojournalism from San Francisco State University. During that time, I learned how much I love to photograph people. They are so full of emotion and life and every time I capture that in a single still image, it makes me smile. After ten years of living on the west coast , I decided to move back to Michigan to pursue a career in wedding and portrait photography. My studio is located in downtown Grand Rapids, but I am more than happy to travel anywhere in the world to photograph you. I personally photograph every wedding, accompanied by one other photographer, creating unique and timeless wedding images using a storytelling approach.
